A board that publishes numbers about other people should be precise about the numbers it keeps on you. This is all of them.

A note on this document. Written to be read, not reviewed by a lawyer. Before this board takes money at scale it should be. Nothing here is legal advice.

1 What we store about a buyer

  • Your email. Given after payment. It is your account — there is no password — and it is how we send receipts and tell you when you have been outbid.
  • Your listing. The URL you submit, plus the title, description and icon we read from that page.
  • Payment references. Stripe customer and payment identifiers. We never see or store your card number.
  • Billing details — name, address, any tax identifier — are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.

2 What we store about a visitor

When someone clicks a listing we record the click, because a published click count has to be one we measured. What we keep is not an identity: it is a SHA-256 hash of the IP address, the user agent, the current date and a server-side secret.

The date is in the hash on purpose. It means the same person browsing tomorrow produces a completely different value, so we can deduplicate within a day without ever being able to follow anyone across days. We do not set advertising cookies and we run no third-party analytics.

3 What we publish

Click counts, spend and cost per click for every listing, publicly and indefinitely, including in the daily archive. That is the product, and it is described in the rules. Those figures are about listings, not about the people who clicked them.

4 Who else sees anything

  • Stripe — payments, and the billing data you give them directly.
  • Our host — the server this runs on, operated by Noqta in Tunis.
  • Nobody else. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or hand it to a data broker.

When you submit a URL we fetch that page from our server to read its title and icon. That request appears in your own site’s logs as TheFrontPageBot/1.0.

5 How long we keep it

Click events are kept as the daily hashes described above. Account and listing data are kept while your listing exists and for as long as we need them for accounting. Published historical metrics are permanent — that is the point of the archive, and it is stated in the terms before you pay.

6 Your rights

Write to contact@noqta.tn to see what we hold on you, correct it, or have your account data deleted. We will not ask you why. Deleting your account does not retract already-published historical figures, per clause 5.
